Home is where public responsibility becomes personal.
Ijebu-Jesa is the headquarters of Oriade Local Government Area and the hometown at the centre of Pelumi Olajengbesi's connection to the constituency he seeks to represent.
Ijebu-Jesa is one community. The mandate is much larger.
Oriade and Obokun together form the federal constituency. The website therefore separates Pelumi's hometown story from the wider responsibility of representing communities across both local government areas.
Communities include Ijebu-Jesa, Ipetu-Ijesa, Erin-Ijesa, Erinmo, Iwaraja, Iloko, Ijeda, Ikeji-Arakeji, Iwoye and others.
Communities include Ibokun, Esa-Oke, Esa-Odo, Imesi-Ile, Otan-Ile, Ilare, Ilase, Idominasi and others.
The constituency is predominantly part of Ijesaland in northeastern Osun State. A federal representative is expected to speak for the full breadth of both LGAs, not only one town or political bloc.

Representation starts with presence.
In July 2026, the Ijesa North Traditional Rulers' Council publicly backed Pelumi's House of Representatives aspiration during a town hall meeting in Iloko-Jesa. That moment sits inside a broader emphasis on consultation with traditional institutions, residents and local stakeholders.

The next stage is not only about candidature. It is about the standard of representation communities should expect.
