A professional chapter closes as public service takes centre stage

Pelumi Olajengbesi stepped aside from Law Corridor as his political engagements and aspirations for public service intensified.

March 2026 marked a significant transition in Pelumi Olajengbesi's professional journey. Law Corridor announced that he had stepped aside from the Abuja-based firm as he turned greater attention to political engagements and aspirations for public service.

The decision reflected the firm's political-neutrality framework and brought to a close an important leadership chapter for one of its co-founders. Over the years, Olajengbesi had held senior responsibilities within the firm and developed a public profile around dispute resolution, advocacy and complex legal matters.

The transition did not erase that professional history. Instead, it placed it behind a new question: how the skills developed through law, institutional leadership and public-interest work might be carried into elected representation.

For supporters of his public-service ambition, the move was a clear signal that the 2027 project was no longer peripheral to his career.
